The legislative act presents a new version of the Law "On Amnesty in Ukraine." Under the Law, amnesty is a full or partial discharge of a particular category of persons found guilty in a crime, or those whose criminal cases were considered in court, but the verdicts has not come into force.
Amnesty is proclaimed by the act of amnesty adopted in line with the Constitution of Ukraine, the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and this Law.
The act of amnesty can envisage:
- full amnesty of the persons indicated from the awarded imprisonment (full amnesty);
- partial amnesty of the persons indicated from the awarded imprisonment (full amnesty).
The draft is registered under Reg. No.4179.
