The bill (Reg. No.7473) regulates
the activity of the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting
concerning control (supervision) over the observance of laws by the television
and radio companies in the sphere of television and radio broadcasting pursuant
to the requirements of the Law "On Fundamentals of State Supervision (Control)
in the Sphere of Economic Activity."
The bill specifies the term ‘state supervision (control)´ in the Law "On Fundamentals of State Supervision (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity."
The bill supplements the Law "On Fundamentals of State Supervision (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity" with the principles, whereby the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting shall obey the Law "On Fundamentals of State Supervision (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity" in its supervisory activities.
During the discussion, N. Korolevska, Chairperson of the Committee, emphasized that the bill required "thorough refinement and harmonization with the Laws "On Television and Radio Broadcasting", "On Telecommunications" and "On Radio Frequency Resources of Ukraine."
