The bill (Reg. No.6348) amends
clause 1 of the Economic Procedural Code of Ukraine, stating that business
entities, organizations, institutions, other legal entities, and sole-proprietors
are regarded\ qualified as market participants. The clauses of the Economic
Procedural Code of Ukraine are amended, with the words ‘business entity´ and
‘enterprises and organizations´ replaced by the words ‘market participants.´
The Committee members emphasized that the bill specified categories of subjects eligible to go to court to protect their rights that have been infringed or litigated, as well as the legitimate interests. The bill harmonizes the terminology with the Economic Code of Ukraine.
