The bill (Reg. No. 7462) regulates circulation
of Ukrainian depository receipts. It fixes the following aspects of new
financial tools: main mechanisms of their emission, registration of the rights
to these financial tools, protection of the owners´ rights, and procedure of
disclosing information on such financial tools as Ukrainian depository receipts.
The bill amends clause 3 of the Law "On Securities and Stock Market", and supplements this Law with a new clause 14-1 entitled "Ukrainian Depository Receipts."
The legal relations belonging to the subject matter of the bill (sphere of financial services) are regulated by the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council №2004/3 9/EU on marketing of financial services, and Directive of the European Parliament and the Council 2000/12/EU.
