The bill (Reg. No. 8091) supports the producers of alternative types of fuel that process wood and export the final output wood pellets and granulates.
The bill excludes wooden production in the form of pellets and granulates from the commodity heading 4413 of the Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity. The bill introduces this amendment, as it is necessary to lift a 20-per-cent VAT on the export of Ukrainian wood production in the form of pellets and granulates, and increase its competitive ability in the foreign markets.
The Committee recommends the Parliament to adopt the bill as a basis, considering the fact that the change of the classification of commodities under the Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity entails respective amendments to the international agreements of Ukraine.
