The bill (Reg. No. 6545) was drafted to protect the interests of bank depositors and creditors, strengthening the responsibility of bank leaders for the results of bank activity, offering effective tools of risk management and harmonizing the banking legislation with the Law "On Joint-Stock Companies."
The bill extends the authorities of the board in bank governance, and increases its importance.
