The anti-corruption Law, submitted by Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, is being scrutinized by the Central Judicial Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate. Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made this statement on Monday.

 

According to him, the text of the bill will be published on the official web-site of the Verkhovna Rada in two days.

 

V. Lytvyn emphasized that the People´s Deputies shall study the bill, thereafter a council with the factions´ leaders and representatives of the subject committees will be held. "Only afterwards shall the document be submitted for consideration", the Head of the Parliament explained.

 

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada is convinced, "The document shall be finally submitted for the scrutiny and adoption in the beginning of March. We need a Law to meet the requirements not only of the factions or politicians, but also the state", V. Lytvyn stressed.
