Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, declares that he exerts every effort to guarantee participation of all factions in the parliamentary work.
"I do my best to make The Verkhovna Rada work in full strength. I meet any requirements, any requests of the opposition factions," the Head of the Parliament stated at the briefing on Monday, asked about the prospects of parliamentary work of the opposition factions. "The Verkhovna Rada should demonstrate that it is a full-fledged body."
V.Lytvyn supports the principle, whereby "the opposition speaks, appeals, argues, urges, and warns, whereas the responsible majority makes decisions and bears responsibility for them jointly with the Government and other authorities."
