Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, positively evaluates the candidacy of Serhii Arbuzov to the office of the Head of the National Bank of Ukraine.
In the interview to "Vid Pershoi Osoby" program on Radio Era on Wednesday, V. Lytvyn announced that on Wednesday, the subject parliamentary committee listened to the report of the candidate for the office of the Head of the National Bank of Ukraine. "After that a positive decision was made, and I agree with it", he stated.
V. Lytvyn announced that he had met S. Arbuzov and "listened to his vision of the situation in the NBU." "First of all I am interested in Hruvnia and banking system stability, transparency of the banking work, deposit repayment, moderate position of the banks concerning the fact that customers can not pay back credits. I received several positive answers to my questions and saw the positive position of S. Arbuzov", the Head of the Parliament explained.
