The legislative act supplements clause 46 of the Law "On Prosecution" with the text of the prosecution officials´ oath.
The effective Law supplements clause 46-2 and sets the grounds for the dismissal of the prosecution officers. Under the Law, "prosecutors and investigators can be dismissed from the occupied offices on a regular basis defined by the labour legislation."
Prosecutors and investigators can be dismissed from the occupied offices in the following cases:
default on service commitments, envisaged by item 5 clause 46 fo this Law and other requirements and restrictions set by the Law;
violation of "Oath of the Prosecution Officer" or denial to take it;
enactment of the judgment of conviction concerning them;
inconsistency with the job, certified by an inspector;
loss of Ukrainian citizenship;
bringing to account pursuant to the Discipline Statute of the Prosecution of Ukraine."
