Public Organization Committee invites to commemorate Mykola Rudenko, famous human rights activist, Hero of Ukraine, at the Ukrainian Culture Fund on 22 December.
The public organization committee was founded to commemorate the 90th birthday anniversary (December 19) of Mykola Danylovych Rudenko, prominent Ukrainian human rights activist, writer, philosopher, founder of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group, Hero of Ukraine.
Borys Oliynyk, Hero of Ukraine, Head of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund and Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, co-chair the public organization committee. The organization committee includes Raisa Rudenko, wife and fellow companion of Mykola Rudenko, Serhii Halchenko, Deputy Director of the Literature Institute, Petro Zasenko, Secretary of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, Mykola Som, prominent poet, and other famous public figures.
The organization committee resolved to hold the memorable evening of M. Rudenko at the Ukrainian Culture Fund at 13.00 on 22 December. The organization committee plans to hold several events to raise publicity and inform about the activity and life of the famous human rights activist, philosopher and writer.
