The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Civil Code of Ukraine regarding Regulation of Relations between the Bodies of Custody and Care and the Individuals in Need of Custody and Care"

The Law determines the system of public administration bodies in charge of custody and care, and specifies the categories of individuals entitled to custody and care to harmonize the Civil Code of Ukraine with the laws on childhood protection.

The draft is registered under Reg. No.6408.
