The Law presents a new version of part two and three of clause 182 of the Code of Laws on Labour of Ukraine, whereby "women who adopted an orphan or a child deprived of parental care more than three years of age are granted a paid one-time leave due to adoption of a child for 56 calendar days (70 calendar days by adoption of two or more children) without considering holidays or non-business days upon adoption validation." Under the Law, a father of child is also entitled to the leave.
