The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to several Legislative Acts of Ukraine" (re Competence of the Law Enforcement Bodies in the Protection of Submarine Cultural and Archeological Heritage)

The Law amends clause 255 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements that authorizes the State Border Service of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine to protect submarine cultural and archeological heritage to prevent misappropriation, destruction and illegal relocation of the cultural heritage objects.

The draft is registered under Reg. No.6604.
