The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to Clause 21 of the Law "On Advertising" (re supplementing the Advertisement of Medicine with the Warning about the Danger of Self-Treatment)

The bill (Reg. No. 4708) supplements part 4 of clause 21 of the Law of Ukraine "On Advertising" with a provision, whereby advertisement of medicine, medical equipment, methods of prevention, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation shall contain the following notification: "self-treatment can be dangerous for your health", which occupies at least 15 per cent of the advertisement space.
