The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2010" (re Extra Sources of Financial Support of the Transfer from the State Budget to the Local Budgets).
The Law supplements the State Budget of Ukraine with a new budget program "transfer from the state budget to the local budgets to repay the arrears in the difference in tariffs for the heat energy produced, transported and supplied to the public that originated due to the disparity between the actual cost of the heat energy and the tariffs established or ratified by the respective public authorities or the local self-government bodies." The Law allocates UAH 2400000,0 thousand from the Special Fund for its implementation.
