The bill (Reg. No7350) submitted by the President of
Ukraine and defined as urgent.
The bill supplements clause 15 of the Law by new part pursuant to which the rate of the state social assistance is increased for a child from 3 to 13 years in 2011 to UAH 60, in 2012 UAH 120, in 2013 UAH 180 and in 2014 UAH 250, for children aged from 13 to 18, in 2011- UAH 100, in 2012 UAH 230, in 2013 UAH 360, in 2014 UAH 500.
In the course of the discussion the People´s Deputies declared that today the rate of the social aid to the low-income families is defined according to the minimal living wage index that is adopted together with the adoption of the Law on State Budget of Ukraine for the relevant year.
The People´s Deputies uphold the bill as its adoption would facilitate unprotected sections of the population.
