The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to Clause 134 of the Land Code of Ukraine (re Lease of Land Plots for the Purpose of Agriculture)

No.6609) supplements part 2 of clause 134 of the Land Code of Ukraine with the provision on the lease of land plots in the state and public ownership with the purpose of the agricultural production without land auction.

The Committee believes that the suggested amendments are appropriate, as the effective procedure of leasing the land plots in the state and public ownership is complicated and imperfect, which encourages corruption and bribery.
