The bill (Reg. No7352) envisages
adoption of the register of essential events in social and political life of Ukraine
and anniversaries that shall be celebrated in 2011 on the state level. The
document is aimed at the formation of the necessary legal grounds for the organizational
support of their celebration.
The register contains 70 dates and anniversaries.
The People´s Deputies emphasised that the register had been drafted during the Committee sittings in June-October 2010; propositions of the People´s Deputies, Ministers and Departments, artistic unions and local self-government have been considered and adopted partially or entirely.
