Please accept my sincere greetings on the occasion of 19th anniversary of foundation of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
During almost two decades, Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine has been formed as a highly- professional, authoritative and effectively functioning structure, that is ready to fulfill its obligations and tasks at any time. It was fostered on the historical traditions of previous generations and now it is vanguard of the modern Armed Forces of Ukraine, leading factor that guarantees the security and protection of an individual, society and the state under the conditions of external threats. Its activity provide leaders of the state with the essential information necessary for the adoption of optimal decisions in the political, economic, military-strategic, scientific-research and environmental spheres.
Under the difficult conditions of the present times, you facilitate the implementation of the state policy of Ukraine in economic, political, military-technical, scientific, ecological and informational spheres. You provide the essential level of the defense capacity of Ukraine. It will not be an exaggeration to declare that the Service contribution to the fighting against organized international crime and terrorism is immense.
High level of professionalism, perfect training, constant readiness for the execution of complex tasks and devotion to our nation are the permanent features of the Service. Your self-devotion, courage, reliability evoke deep sense of respect and appreciation as it is everyday norm of your life. Its importance and significance receives special attention during the times of numerous cases global menaces and terrorism.
I am convinced that the efforts of the Foreign Intelligence Service personnel are aimed at the adoption of its activity to new conditions according to the state course on integration to the European and Euro-Atlantic community, strengthening of the cooperation in the sphere of regional and global security with the countries of the world commonwealth. I hope that your efforts would result in great success and achievements for the national interests of Ukraine.
On the occasion of this holiday, I express my sincere gratitude for your devoted service for the future of our Motherland. I wish you all the best and success in the honourable and responsible social mission for the sake of Ukrainian nation.
