The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Elections of Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, Local Councils, and Village, Township and City Mayors"

The bill (Reg. No.6601) changes the election system to be employed by elections of the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, regional, district, city, city district councils from the proportional election system to the mixed (majoritarian-proportional) election system.
