The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts the Bill on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts regarding the Violation Strengthening for the Interference into the Activity of Railway Sector

The bill (Reg. No6552) directed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, envisages the increase of the penalty rates in the relevant clause of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements and clauses 277, 279 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The People´s Deputies emphasised the fact that the criminal encroachment upon the load is unlawful interference in the functioning of the rail transport and it cause great danger to the safety of transportation, live of passengers and workers of the railway sector.

The Committee members deem the adoption of the bill facilitates making delinquent of the transport legislation accountable.
