Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine directed the deputies´ inquiry to Mykola Azarov, the Prime Minister of Ukraine regarding the prevention of the destroying of the sport objects on the territory of the National sport complex Olimpiiskyi. It was an reaction on the numerous appeals of the sportsmen that are worried by he fact their sports base are closed for the period of the preparation for Euro-2012 despite the fact there is no plan of their further reconstruction and development.
The Deputy Chairman reminded of the critical situation connected with danger of complete destroying of the sport objects of CSC Tenisni Korty and skating rink Kryzhynka on the territory of NSC Olimpiiskyi as the destruction works have been already commenced.
The Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine asked the Prime minister to stop actions regarding the destroying of the sport objects CSC Tenisni Korty and skating rink Kryzhynka on the territory of NSC Olimpiiskyi until the program of their renovation and building of the new objects of the relevant purposes with the defining of the funding sources is adopted.
