Fundamental Aims for Today are Providing Stable Power, its Common Responsibility, for the Ukrainian Sovereignty to be filled with the Real Sense.
It was declared by V. Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, evaluating on the request of the program "Vidverto i Vholos" (First Channel of Ukrainian Radio) on Wednesday years passed from the moment of the adoption of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of Ukraine and also challenges Ukraine faces.
"There are a lot of challenges, as due to the Declaration of Act of the State Sovereignty of Ukraine, after the national referendum and also the Constitution of Ukraine today we have Ukraine as a state de-jure and it is necessary to make everything possible to provide its being de facto, as we should have not formal sovereignty but the real one, for us to be able to pass the decision on fundamental issues of the internal and foreign policy without other parties agreement", V. Lytvyn declared. Though he stated that it is necessary to be aware of the fact that taking into the consideration mutual connection of the states, none of the countries is able to solve the problems itself, especially problems of the global character.
"Hence it is necessary for us to provide single efficient power, taking into the consideration the division of functions and authorities", V. Lytvyn declared. He rejected the declarations of two politicians on "concentration of power in the hands of one political power, party or coalition." "Instead, it shall not be an exaggeration to declare that there is a concentration of responsibility", the Head of the Parliament added.
