The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Telecommunications" (re Access to the Cable Duct-Work of Telecommunication) as a Basis

The bill (Reg. No. 5333) supplements clause 1 of the Law "On Telecommunications" with the definition of the term "cable duct-work of telecommunications", and adds sub-item 3 to part 2 of clause 66 under which the tariffs for the lease of cable duct-work of telecommunications are subject to state regulation by means of setting limit or fixed rates. The adoption of the bill will facilitate enhancement of regulatory principles of activity in the sector of telecommunications.
