The Committee on Finance and Banking recommends that the Parliament rejects the Bill on Supplements to Clause 7 of the Law "On Insurance" (re Insurance of Contest Participants)

The bill (Reg. No.5138) refers insurance of life and health of sport contest participants to the types of compulsory insurance (additionally to the compulsory insurance of the high ranking sportsmen).

Pursuant to part 2 clause 43 of the new version of the Law "On Physical Culture and Sports" (coming into force on 1 January 2011), the high ranking sportsmen are subject to compulsory insurance under the procedure established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
