Final plenary sitting of 19th Annual Session of OSCE PA was dedicated to the adoption of Norwegian (Oslo declaration).
Oleh Bilorus, the Head of Standing Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in OSCE PA in the course of the final plenary sitting, emphasised the importance and vitality of the adoption of Norwegian declaration. He also emphasised that this event is a considerable contribution to the development of the international cooperation and international law under the conditions of the global economic crisis.
O. Bilorus emphasised that the activity of PA becomes more intensive and this year theme: "Supremacy of Law: Fighting Transnational Crime and Corruption" defines the problem the Government is supposed to point out the attention to.
He pointed out the attention to the fact that the issue regarding the nuclear threat, terrorism, integration of international society: an answer to the global challenges and they are extremely necessary for the discussion.
Head of the Standing Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed hope that the future projects of PA OSCE and its resolutions would reflect the strengthening of the cooperation in the direction of overcoming of the negative consequences of globalization and global economic crisis. The reporter expressed for the strengthening of the coordination of the international anti-crisis sand post crisis efforts under the aegis of UNO.
In the result of the voting of the representatives of OSCE countries-members O. Bilorus was appointed to the office of the Deputy President of OSCE PA for the fourth time.
