The Law establishes temporary regulation of imports into the customs territory of Ukraine of the personal belongings of the contestants, goods and vehicles destined for the preparation and holding of the EURO 2012 by the UEFA, contestants and their representatives. The bill envisages preferential tax treatment of the goods destined for the final part of the European Football Championship 2012 in Ukraine.
The Law amends the Laws "On Organization and Holding of the Final Part of the European Football Championship 2012 in Ukraine", "On Value Added Tax", and "On Common Customs Tariff."
The document envisages that unitl1 September 2012 the VAT is not effective in the course of the import on the customs territory of Ukraine of the goods under the import customs regime (re-importation) that are exempt from the entrance taxation pursuant to the norms of the item "щ-2" clause 19 of the Law of Ukraine "On Single Customs Tariff."
The document establishes the special order of the entrance taxation and VAT imposing in the course of the import (re-import) of the goods necessary for the preparation and the conduction of "Euro-2012" football championship.
Transportation throughout the customs of Ukraine of personal belongings of the participants of the Championship and authorized persons is conducted in the order established by the Law "On Order of Conveyance (Transportation) in Ukraine, Customs processing and Taxation of Personal Belongings, Goods and Transport Means that are conveyed (transported) by the Citizens on the Customs Territory of Ukraine."
