Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, asked by the journalists regarding the present for the President of Ukraine on the part of the parliament on the occasion of his jubilee, declared that "the biggest present shall be made through the adoption of the bill "On Whole Ukrainian Referendum.""
He explained that pursuant to the clause 95 and other clause of the document (in case of their adoption) after the voting on the national referendum where the new Constitution can be uphold, the decision comes into effect from the day of making it public by the Central Election Committee without the Parliament. Furthermore no one has had the right to alter it for 5 years. "Hence, if the decision is adopted, it shall become terminated present for the President and he shall receive it on 341 October in t he form of the president´s republic for 5 years", M. Tomenko stated. Though, he is convinced that "it is bad present for the state and image of Ukraine in the world."
Mykola Tomenko suggests as a presents for the President of Ukraine books and pictures instead of the authorities of the parliament and local self-government.
