The Committee recommends that The Verkhovna Rada immediately sets up a Temporary Inquiry Panel to investigate the facts of censorship in mass media, freedom of speech restriction and impediment to the professional activity of the journalists.

The Verkhovna Rada should discuss the situation involving Channel 5, TVi TRBC and other Ukrainian mass media, inviting the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Head of the National Council of Ukraine for Television and Radio Broadcasting, CEOs of TVi and Channel 5, representatives of U.A. Inter Media Group media holding to the plenary meeting.
