The Law amends the Law "On the National Deposit System and Specificity of Electronic Circulation of Securities in Ukraine" by the provisions, pursuant to which the rate of the statute capital of depositary shall comprise at least UAH 15 million, while the rates of the owner's equity shall total at least UAH 25 million.
The Law increases the volume of the authorized capital of the professional participants of the stock market (depositaries, registrars, asset management companies, securities traders, etc). The document was drafted to extend the requirements for the authorized capital of the professional participants of the stock market in order to minimize risks in the operations with securities.
The Law also defines that the rate of the statue interest of the registrar shall total at least UAH 100 thousand.
Clause 29 of the Law "On the Common Investment Institutes" is amended by the norm, pursuant to which the rate of the statute interest of the asset manager shall comprise at least UAH 7 million.
