The bill (Reg. No6598) defines the
legal, organizational and functional base for the training, marking and sale of
seeds and planting stock; strengthening of the requirements to the seeds and
planting stock; ordering of the structure and functions of the state
supervision bodies in the sphere of the seeds and planting stock growing;
strengthening of the liability of the state bodies on control and supervision for
the spread of seeds and planting stock.
As it was declared in the course of the Committee sitting, the bill is aimed at the harmonization of the Law "On Seeds and Planting Stock" principles with WTO and EU requirements.
