The bill (Reg. No.4814) determines
legal, economic and social basis of the organic production, sets the
requirements for growing, production, certification and marking, transportation
and storage of the organic production. The document also enhances public health
care, protection of the environment and rational use of the natural resources.
The Committee members emphasised that the bill belongs to the sphere of the consumer rights, public health protection, flora and fauna and the environment.
Having scrutinized the bill, the Committee on European Integration confirmed that the bill on organic production conformed to the EU Laws
