The Law presupposes drafting of a long-term Space Activity Strategy of Ukraine (for at least 20 years) to set the principles of governmental policy in the said sector. The strategy shall be ratified by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Under the Law, the National Space Agency of Ukraine shall be authorized to open its representative offices in the regions (countries) that have potential for advancement of Ukrainian space equipment and technologies. The Law specifies the procedure of registering launched spaceships, and regulates their exclusion from the register.
A relevant bill was registered under Reg. No. 4768.
