The bill on amendments to the Law "On State Regulation of Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol, Cognac and Fruit Alcohol, Alcohol Beverages and Tobacco Goods" (regarding import and export of alcohol). The bill (Reg. No6379) determines the general principles of government policy concerning the regulation of production, export, import, wholesale and retail trade in ethyl alcohol, cognac and fruit alcohols, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, ensuring their high quality and protecting health of citizens, and strengthening of fighting against illegal production and circulation of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products within the territory of Ukraine.
The Committee emphasised that the pricniples of the bill do not contradict EU legislation and WTO obligations of Ukraine.
The Committee also scrutinized the bill on special regime of the investments activity on the territory of the prior development in Kherson region (Reg. No6303), aimed at the stimulation of the development of the depressive territories: shipbuilding, high technological and agricultural machinery construction, highly productive agricultural complex, irrigated agriculture, tourist complex, green tourism, reformation of the house-utility complex, implementation of energy saving technologies etc.
In the course of the Committee sitting it was indicated that the bill principles harmonize with EU legislation and WTO obligations of Ukraine.
