The bill (Reg. No.6564) defines legal, economic and organizational principles of economic relations and entrepreneurship in the sphere of the natural gas market operation. As it was declared, the document regulates economic relations between the subjects of the natural gas market as to its production, transportation, distribution, supply, storage and consumption; procedure of the state supervision, norms of safety exploitation of equipment and consumption of natural gas by the market participants irrespective of the form of ownership.
The People´s Deputies also stated that the bill amended several effective Laws: "On Natural Monopolies", "On Licensing of certain Types of the Economic Activity", "On Oil and Gas", "On Measures to ensure Stable Operation of Fuel-Energy Enterprises", "On Principles of the State Supervision (Control) in the Economic Activity Sector."
