The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Amendments to several Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Strengthening of Criminal Responsibility for the Crimes against Property and Personal Privacy

The bill (Reg. No.5462) submitted by People´s Deputies of Ukraine V.R. Moisyk and S.H. Mishchenko introduces amendments to clauses 162, 185, 186, 187, 357 of the Criminal Code and clause 177 of the Criminal-Procedural Code, defining the term "housing" and "ownership" in the context of the criminal and criminal-procedural legislation.

The parliamentarians believe that adoption of the bill improves the legal mechanism of the privacy rights protection.
