The bill (Reg. No.5329) sets the principles of governmental policy and public administration in the field of protection of architectural and urban planning heritage; determines the mechanism of public registration of objects of architectural and urban planning heritage, specifics of maintenance, use and realization of the property right for such objects; settles the issues of scientific, personnel and information support of activity aimed at protection of this cultural heritage.
The Committee members stated that implementation of the law would require drafting of several normative-legal acts, including the Order of State Architectural and Urban Planning Heritage Registration; the Order of Returning the Renovated Architectural Monuments into Service; the Order of determining the Urgency and Volume of Renovation Works on Architectural Monuments.
The People´s Deputies deem necessary to enhance the mechanisms of implementing governmental policy in the field of cultural heritage protection.
