Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that setting up of the Parliamentary Ad Hoc Inquiry Panel to investigate the Situation with the Privatization of Mariupol Ilyich Steel and Iron Works will not ascertain the Truth.
"To delay the solving of the problem, one may form TIP, thus to solve the problem it is necessary to receive the information from Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, State Property Fund and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in general, afterwards we should hear this issue in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine", V. Lytvyn stated, giving answers to the journalists questions after the sitting of the Conciliate Council.
According to the Head of the Parliament, "if we form the panel it means we will not ascertain the truth in this extremely essential for Ukraine issue." He also announced that today the relevant appeals with the request to supply the necessary documents to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine would be directed. "Depending on the information we would adopt the decision regarding the further actions in the Parliament regarding this matter", V. Lytvyn stated.
