The Resolution draft (Reg. No6230)
suggests implementation in April 2010 celebration on the state level of 140th
anniversary of V. I. Lenin birthday. It is also suggested to use this date "for
the establishment of the historic truth and objective role of V. I. Lenin in
historical destiny of our people."
According to the Committee members "celebration on the state level of 140th anniversary of V. I. Lenin birthday who was initiator of liquidation of Ukrainian People´s Republic in a forced way is purposeless." The People´s Deputies also emphasised the "participation of V. Lenin in repressions and killing of certain social groups of the population."
