Pursuant to the decision of the Committee the main tasks for the Government in the year 2010 are supposed to be:
reformation of the public health system, aimed at the increase of the quantity, opportuneness, availability and effectiveness of medical treatment on the whole levels, first of all it concerns primary health care in village regions;
common reduction of the morbidity and mortality rates though the improvement of prophylaxis, diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, vascular, oncological and other disease that are the most common in Ukraine´
preliminary quantity increase of the medical treatment for mothers and children, improvement of reproductive health of the population;
increase of the relevant conditions of dwelling, education, labour, recreation and catering, strengthening of the state sanitary-and-epidemiological control and state control for the quality and safety of medicines, medical equipment and medicines;
facilitation of the renovation of the social prestige of the medical profession and considerable social protection for the medical specialists.
