The Resolution was drafted to harmonize the rate of bursaries of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the students of higher education establishments who are orphans or children from the low-income families with the scholarships and individual scholarships established by other branches of authority.
The Resolution establishes 150 bursaries in the amount of UAH 750 for the students of higher education establishments of I-II levels of accreditation and in the amount of UAH 900 for the students of higher education establishments of III-IV levels of accreditation.
Under the Resolution, bursaries shall be granted and paid to the bursary holder in addition to other scholarships or grants endowed by the individuals or legal entities and state aid allocated in compliance with the effective legislation of Ukraine. The Ministry of Education and Science shall distribute the bursaries between the central executive authority bodies.
