The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Articles 5 and 8 of the Law "On State Social Aid for the Low-Income Families"

The Bill (Reg.No.1416) envisages that the rate of the State Social Aid for the Low-Income Families should depend on the living wage. The Bill is aimed at enhancement of social protection of the low-income families, and at the compliance with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law "On the State Social Standards and State Social Safeguards", pursuant to which, the rate of State social aids should not be lower than the legally defined living wage.
