The Law introduces amendments to the Laws "On Hunting Sector and Hunting", "On the Fauna"; to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringes and the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Law aims at enhancement of legislative basis required for realizing the actions on preservation and reproduction of hunting animals, observance of established terms, hunting procedure, and enhanced efficiency of fighting poaching.
Inter alia, it is proposed to increase the rate of penalty for violating the hunting rules. The authorized executive body in the hunting sector is to be empowered to impose restrictions on use of State hunting fund, due to the current legislation, adopt normative acts concerning keeping hunting sector and hunting, hounds breeding, use of hunting animals and birds.
