The Committee on Public Health recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Amendments to Clause 12 of the Law "On Medicines" (re Marking of Medicines with Braille Script) at the Second Reading and in its Entirety

Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.5506), the outward packing of medicines used by the visually challenged persons shall include the title of the medicine in Braille. Sale of medicines marked with Braille shall be effected on the demand of the customers. The Ministry of Public Health shall determine the medicines, the packing of which shall be marked in Braille.

The Committee members are convinced that the amendments suggested by the Bill prevent the prices increase on the medicines for the population of Ukraine, especially the least protected layers of the Ukrainian citizens.
