The Committee recognized as such that harmonize with the European Union legislation the Bill on amendments to the Law "On Excise Duty Rate on Ethyl Alcohol and Alcohol Drinks" (Reg. No5251). The Bill suggests increase of the excise duty rate on ethyl alcohol, certain overfermented drinks etc. from 34 to 50 UAH per liter.
According to the Committee conclusions, the Bill principles approximate the excise duty rates on the defined production to the norms of European Union.
The Committee also recognized as such that harmonize with EU legislation the Bill on amendments to the Law "On Excise Duty Rate on Ethyl Alcohol and Alcohol Drinks" (regarding the increase of the excise duty rate on spirit) (Reg. No5251-1).
The Bill suggests increase of the excise duty on ethyl alcohol from 34 to 84 UAH per liter.
The Members of the Committee stated that the bill principles are regulated by the same international acts as the previous legislative act.
