The Bill (Reg.№5034) envisages the amendments to the effective legislation on improvement of legal regulation of breeding in livestock farming. In particular, executive power bodies, functions, their authority, organization and conduction of the registration system on selection achievements are specified in the bill.
Pursuant to the Bill, "the state registration of the breed and under control animals are implemented through the amendments introduction to the state books on breed animals, subjects of the breeding the State register of breeding subjects in livestock farming."
It is also envisaged that "the state managements in the livestock farming breeding sphere is conducted by the cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, centralized executive power body on agrarian policy, and local state administration in the framework of the authorities defined by this law."
"Pursuant to the Bill, "the economic activity in livestock breeding is connected with the production of the breeding (genetic) recourses, preserving of the breeding (genetic) resopurses, conduction of the genetic expertise on origin and abnormality of the animals are to undergo licensing and registration pursuant to the legislation"
