Oleksandr Lavrynovych: The Date of Newly Elected President Inauguration will be scrutinized by the Parliament Tomorrow
According to Oleksandr Lavrynovych, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, "the attention during the next plenary meeting will be dedicated to the scrutiny of two issues: tomorrow (16 February) the issue on the scrutiny of the Resolution Draft on appointing of the honoured meeting for the inauguration of newly elected President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, that is planned to be held on 25 February. The second issue is the issue on reversal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine resolution on appointing of the local elections on 30 May of the current year as there is an unforeseen event - the problem of electoral campaign financing as there is no state budget for the current year."
Giving comments concerning the situation on the coalition formation in the Parliament, O. Lavrynovych declared: "Our political power (Party of Regions) holds not official consultations in the Verkhovna Rada in order we commenced the formation on the new format of the Parliamentary coalition."
Speaking on the issue of preparation for the scrutiny of the issue on giving a vote of nonconfidence to the Government, the First Deputy Chairman stated: "When there would be such a necessity, the issues will be solved quickly and in a professional way."
Giving comments to the journalists questions concerning the fact why the Prime Minister that lost the elections, did not recognize her defeat, O. Lavrynovych declared that according to him: "a person should always be responsible for each your action and consequences of our decision. In case with Yulia Tymoshenko, it is a demonstration of her political weakness and neglecting of all the norms of democracy."
