Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems it necessary to revert to the Issue on Gas-Transport Consortium "Ukraine-Russian-Europe", based on Parity Principles.
V. Lytvyn is convinced that "it is extremely important to develop the national gas-transport system, still it should be done in a way different from the one suggested by the Ukrainian power through the negotiations with Europe regarding the cooperation in gas sphere and taking no care of country that produce this gas, that is Russian Federation." It was declared in the course of the press-conference in Bohuslav town.
According to the Head of the Parliament, "Russia, producing gas, Ukraine, possessing gas-transport system and Europe, consuming blue-sky-fuel are supposed to cooperate." "I totally uphold the idea of reversion to the gas-transport consortium. The consortium participants are supposed to make their contribution for the mutual interest: Russia gas, Europe modern technologies, science and equipment, Ukraine own gas transport system", - V. Lytvyn proclaimed.
On Tuesday V. Lytvyn is staying with the working visit in Kyiv and Cherkasy regions.
