The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Resolution "On Recommendations of the Parliamentary Hearings "Ukrainians Abroad: Current State and Prospects"

Pursuant to the Resolution, "in the framework of foreign political activity, negotiations and conclusion of international agreements, the President of Ukraine is recommended to raise the issues concerning support of foreign Ukrainians and Ukrainian citizens abroad, draw attention to the strengthening of diplomatic representative offices of Ukraine in the countries with large Ukrainian communities".

A relevant Draft Resolution was registered at Reg. No. 5326.
